Formlabs announces Form 4BL for accuracy and high-volumes

SOMERVILLE, Mass., US: 3D printing expert Formlabs has announced its new Form 4BL, a large-format 3D printer empowering dental professionals to meet the increasing demands of modern dental manufacturing with high throughput, rapid speed and unmatched accuracy. Form 4BL brings large-scale production into dental laboratories, offering dental professionals the ability to print high volumes of models, surgical guides, splints and other dental products faster than ever.

Fast printing speeds: It can print up to 32 dental models in just 14 minutes using Fast Model Resin, empowering dental laboratories to keep pace with even the most demanding production schedules.
High throughput: Form 4BL’s build platform is 2.7 times larger than its large-format predecessor, enabling users to produce more parts per print and requiring up to three times fewer user interactions.
Unrivalled accuracy: It delivers a 95% surface accuracy to within 50 μm of the CAD model for restorative applications.
Versatility: Compatible with more than ten dentistry-specific resins and featuring Open Material Mode, Form 4BL offers flexibility to meet any dental need.
Maximum uptime: Designed for continuous operation, Form 4BL minimises downtime for dependable large-format 3D printing.
